2 Weeks and We're NOT Running!

It's been a week since I updated about this Electricity Saving Project. I told my mother about the activity, and my mother said she'd be careful to turn off lights and unplug chargers, and I'm sure she has. I have noticed that whenever I see an extra light on, I feel that tug on my body that makes me WANT to walk over and turn it off. It's becoming almost like a habit. I actually started turning off lights because I WANTED to save energy, not because I had to for a grade. 2 weeks previous this project, I started to tell my family how I wished to save energy, and that we all needed to work together to carefully limit the amount of heat energy we use daily. This weekend we had a large party, and I told my cousin to watch out for unneeded lights, and even though she may have forgotten, I believe the effort of trying to get an extra person involved. So far, I feel that I have done my part. In the past my mother used to come home to a house lit up my light, and she used to say that our neighbors would ask her why our house lights were ALL on. I haven't heard that complaint for a week or so, even more. Also, I have been unplugging plugs that are constantly plugged into the wall without a device, as I was before, and in that area it has stayed somewhat the same. So far, I believe that in MY part I have been somewhat successful. As for my family, I am not sure, as my mother was the only one I reminded this week, and I cannot be positive she followed through.
